The PicoWay® by Candela. This is the best Pico laser in the industry with 3 wavelengths. Nd:Yag 1064, KTP 532 and 730. Therefore we are able to treat multi coloured tattoos. We can treat colours such as Green, blue, yellow, red, brown and black.

Laser brow removal is complete within minutes and quite tolerable for most. It feels like hot rubber bands snapping on the skin and is less painful than tattoo removal on the body. We use icepacks to cool the skin, paired with the Zimmer Cyro to blow cold air on the treatment area to minimize discomfort.

If you are interested in numbing, you can purchase it at our studio. We carry Zensa and Armorcaine. We recommend applying it for 1.5 hours before your treatment. Be sure to apply saran wrap to prevent the product from drying. We can also numb during your treatment for an additional charge.

On average brow removal requires 2-4 sessions depending on factors such as the colour of the brows, how dark the tattoo is and how deep the pigment is. Each session is spaced 8 weeks apart. You will notice the most fading in the first month.

Permanent makeup pigments can change colour when being treated and this is perfectly normal. Black/brown brows can change into a warmer colour and warmer coloured brows can change into a grey/black. If this occurs we just treat the tattoo as the appropriate colour during your next appointment.

Everyone and every tattoo is unique, therefore the number of treatments will vary. Factors such as age of tattoo, type of ink, depth, colour of tattoo etc. will affect the number of treatments you will require.

There will be some redness and swelling that will subside over the next few days. Red or warm brows will typically take longer to heal and the skin will become more red in comparison to treating black/brown brows. You may purchase an ice pack to apply on your brows at home. This will bring down the redness and swelling.

Stay out of the sun before and after treatment. Avoid applying ingredients on your brows that may irritate your skin such as Retinol, Retin-A or acids for a couple weeks before and after treatment. The length of time will vary based on the strength of the actives in the products used.

We will provide proper aftercare ointment during your appointment that can be applied once or twice a day.
